Dermalogica Neurosculpt is not recommended if you have
- Active cold sores / oral infections
- Recent dental work or surgery i.e. extractions, implants, and root canals within a 2-3 week period.
- Severe TMJ pain or jaw instability
- Active cystic acne or inflammatory skin conditions
- Facial and oral cancer - during radiation or chemotherapy
precautions
Please advise your skin therapist if the following apply to enable appropriate treatment modifications or deferral
- Facial fillers or Botox within the last 2-3 weeks - Defer to avoid product migration.
- Pregnancy - Defer in first trimester
- Conditions affecting nerve sensation i.e. bell’s palsy, trigeminal neuralgia
- Clients undergoing orthodontic treatment and/or orthodontic braces
