how to use

Dispense about a half-teaspoon of Daily Microfoliant® into very wet hands and create a creamy paste by rubbing hands together. Apply to face in circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Massage gently for one minute, then rinse thoroughly. Follow with Multi-Active Toner or UltraCalming Mist and prescribed Dermalogica Moisturizer.

The first time I tried this, I hadn't seen the video of how to apply it properly and it irritated my skin causing break out and redness. Then, I watched the video. If you have sensitive skin and are considering this product, watch the video - it makes a big difference. Now I use it whenever I see my skin getting dull. It leaves my skin soft, supple, and glowing. My only caution: if you have sensitive skin, apply it gently. Lightly buff. Don't scrub.

I use it every 3-4 days, the feeling of the powder on the skin feels like it really deep cleans the skin. The amount of powder that comes out is a bit difficult to manage but you get used to it. Also mixing this product with other daily cleaners from dermalogica.

I use this product after pre wash and ultra calming cleanser but only every other day. I am in my 70's and have very sensitive skin. The microfoliant gently removes those small patches of dry skin from my forehead and cleanses the oil from my nose and chin. It leaves me with a polished clean look and feel. No irritation!

I started using the daily microfoliant, and I'm breaking out. My chin, which was never a problem area for me, is now full of tiny bumps a some white heads, and I have texture around my nose, also something I never had before. I don't know if this is my skin purging and I should be patient and keep using it daily, or this is just not good for my skin and I should stop using it. how can I tell? How long should it take for my skin to get over the purging period and start getting better?
