Cleanse morning and night by lathering a pea-size amount of Special Cleansing Gel with water. Apply to dampened face and throat and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Exfoliate once a day with Daily Microfoliant. Start by lathering the powder in wet hands to create a paste then apply to skin with gentle circular motions. Rinse clean with lukewarm water. Moisturize with Skin Smoothing Cream (the size of a pea) twice a day after cleansing and exfoliating. I've always had normal and relatively clear skin, with the occasional breakout on just my nose. I never used anything but moisturizer, so I decided I needed an actual face routine. I heard great things about dermalogica so I bought this. I understand that when you first start using facial products, you might break out before you get used to it. I did, but decided to keep trying because I knew my skin would get used to it. But these products never cleared those breakouts. I now stopped using them, and my skin is worse than it's ever been, even weeks later. I have acne on my face in places I've never gotten them before, even my neck. It's pretty much everywhere. My skin is dry, red, and I have dots everywhere. I'm so disappointed and now left with a worsened skin condition than I had before i started. Only thing that I liked was the eye cream.
